背景资料:周杰:临汾市原副市长,2009年12月4日因涉嫌受贿罪被逮捕。2010年5月12日,朔州市中级法院开庭审理了周杰涉嫌受贿案。检察机关指控:周杰在担任临汾市副市长期间,自2007年至2008年,利用分管工业、民营经济、国有资产监管等职务上的便利,索取、非法收受他人财物共计230.28万元人民币,并为他人谋取利益,其行为已触犯《中华人民共和国刑法》之相关规定,应当以受贿罪追究其刑事责任。
