党的十六届五中全会提出了建设社会主义新农村的重大战略任务,这是我党践行“三个代表”重要思想、科学发展观重大体现,档案行政管理部门要抓住机遇,服务大局,把为推进社会主义新农村建设服务作为档案工作的一项重要任务来抓,认真做好新农村建设过程中的档案服务工作,在社会主义新农村建设中发挥应有的作用。
