金盾出版社的王言络同志在《科技与出版》1993年第2期上撰文指出:新书试销一般是一个季度集中发一次,品种和数量按接受试销的书店所处地区和经营规模而定。每种书少则两三册,多也不过二三十册。新书试销是出版社主动发货,适当给书店优惠,按六九折结算,书款6个月后托收,半年内卖不了的书,允许书店退回,费用由出版社负担。开展新书试销,既可以及时把新书投入市场,掌握行情,便于添订,又可以避免我社因大量馈赠样书而加重经济负担。开展新书试销以来,受到众多基层新华书店的欢迎,目前同意接受试销的书
