《义务教育语文课程标准》提出:“语文是最重要的交际工具,是人类文化的重要组成部分,工具性和人文性的统一是语文课程的基本特点。”可见,语文是语言和文化的综合体。中学语文教材中所选的课文大多是出自古人手笔的诗、词、赋、戏剧等,这些作品中积淀着丰富的中华民族优秀的文化传统。作为语文教师应引导学生在祖国灿烂的文化长河中遨游,传承中华民族优秀文化,将之发扬光大。
