Taekwondo is a confrontational sport with arms and legs attacking weapons and is known as the “World’s First Fighting Campaign.” In the fierce youth taekwondo competition, it is easy to see that young athletes have strong physical skills and superb techniques and the use of correct and reasonable tactics, and their good psychological state is not easy to be detected or often overlooked by people. However, it often Is the key to winning the game. For example: Some young athletes usually perform very well in technical and tactical performance, but they can not play their due role in the competition. Their athletic status is not good. Their skills and tactics can not be used effectively. The victory can not be won. This is what we often say athletes “stage fright ”. Therefore, the study of young athletes “stage fright ” reason and how to overcome it is particularly important. Based on this, this article attempts to carry out a preliminary theoretical discussion on the “stage fright” problem that affects the level and ability of young athletes in taekwondo competitions.
