社交媒体的广泛应用,对社会学家来说可谓机遇与挑战并存。反映人们日常习惯、意见观点和行为特征的数据正以规模空前的形式向我们走来。这也意味着,我们在研究中不可能再依赖传统的分析方法和分析工具。本文是针对2011年8月英国发生骚乱期间出现的大量推文语料应用计算机辅助方法进行分析的一次实验。
The wide application of social media can be both an opportunity and a challenge for sociologists. Data that reflect people’s everyday habits, opinions, and behavioral traits are coming to us in an unprecedented form. This also means that we can no longer rely on traditional analytical methods and analytical tools in our research. This article is an experiment aimed at analyzing the large number of tweet corpus computer aided methods that occurred during the August 2011 riots in the United Kingdom.
