山东省京剧团的《奇袭白虎团》, 是一九六四年京剧现代戏观摩演出中受到观众一致赞誉的优秀剧目。会演以后,剧团的同志们在党的领导下,以不断革命、精益求精的精神,从剧本到演出作了一系列的加工与修改,使戏的思想内容与艺术质量都有了显著的提高。在剧本和演出的加工修改中,首先以毛主席思想为指导,提高与深化了主题思想。看了演出,使人鲜明地感到毛主席人民战争的思想,在戏中有着比较深刻的体现。同时,结合当前国际斗争形势,指出在反美斗争中,要以革命的两手对付敌人反革命的两手,而又以打为主,敌人是不打不倒的。其次,剧中除了鲜明地表现中国人民志愿军与朝鲜人民军并肩作战的鲜血凝成的战斗友谊外,还加强表现了中朝人民亲如手足,中国人民志愿军在
