秦东地方戏以三国、列国和隋唐故事居多,这些故事都是对相应历史事件的文学想象与舞台演绎。剧中人物的悲欢离合与荣辱沉浮不仅能使观众达到对社会人生的某种认知,还能激发人们对现实人生价值与意义的追问,并获得一定的生存智慧。老百姓观赏秦东地方戏的过程既是审美娱乐的过程,也是接受道德教育的过程。
