2012 National Disease Prevention and Control and Patriotic Health Work Conference was held on January 16-17 in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Yin Li, vice minister of the Ministry of Health and director of the National AIDS Department, attended the meeting and made a speech. The meeting summed up the 2011 disease prevention and control and patriotic health work, analyzed the current situation, the research deployment of the work in 2012. Yin Li pointed out that all work on disease prevention and control and patriotic health in 2011 progressed smoothly and the relevant work in the first phase of the medical reform had achieved remarkable results.
