我厂会铸造锰黄铜螺旋推进器,大小不下数百余只,但在推进器铸件的吸入面(即随面)有氧化渣及其所引起的疏松。这种氧化渣在铸件浇好后为表皮所复盖,而在有氧化渣处的表皮上则呈现一片片灰黑色的小点,在加工时将表皮薄唇凿去后即显出蜂窝状的疏松,最多时遍及全叶面而且相当深,严重的破坏了合金的强度,这样就不得不采用加厚加工余量或用焊补的方法来挽救,不但增加了工时、成本,而且使产品质量受到影响。我厂过去采用过各种办法以达到消灭这个缺陷的目的,然而长时期来迄未有任何成果。
