对于英语口译来说,要提高英语口译的质量,就应当注意短期记忆。短期记忆是在听力理解及逻辑分析基础上的记忆,对于提高英语口译质量具有重要意义。因此,必须采取针对性措施,提高英语口译过程中的短期记忆,比如:锻炼译员的逻辑思维、引导译员的跟读练习、提高译员的复述训练、加强译员的笔记训练和开展数字及专有名词训练等。
For English interpreter, to improve the quality of English interpreter, we should pay attention to short-term memory. Short-term memory is a memory based on listening comprehension and logical analysis, which is of great significance for improving the quality of English interpreting. Therefore, we must take targeted measures to improve short-term memory in the process of English interpretation, such as: logical training of translators, leading interpreters to follow-up exercises, improving interpreter’s repetition training, translators’ notes training and digital and proper nouns Training and so on.
