Since the founding of the People’s Republic, our medical and health work has achieved tremendous achievements under the care and leadership of party committees at all levels. Especially in the past two years or more, with the continuous advancement of industrial and agricultural production and the realization of the rural people’s communes, the development of health work has been greatly promoted. Recently, under the great call of the Party Central Committee and Comrade Mao Zedong to support agriculture in all walks of life, the mass movement for supporting agriculture has been widely carried out on the medical and health front. Health departments at all levels have placed a prominent position on supporting agriculture.
