江泽民同志在庆祝中国共产党成立80周年大会上的讲话中强调指出:“贯彻‘三个代表’要求.我们必须全面贯彻干部队伍革命化、年轻化、知识化、专业化的方针和德才兼备的原则,深化干部人事制度改革,努力建设一支高素质的、能够担当重任、经得起风浪考验的干部队伍。”这一重要论述,为新时期干部队伍建设指明了方向。
