各位同胞:第一条完全由我们的工程技术人员设计的铁路干线--京张铁路已胜利竣工。为了纪念这一具有深远历史意义的事件,本报编辑部特发起征集铁路路名的活动。具体要求如下:路名必须简洁、明了,以三个字左右为宜。路名以体现中华民族的精神为原则,可以与修筑这条铁路相关的内容命名,可以体现这一铁路修筑成功的意义命名。
