The 21st century is a crucial period for quality education. As an integral part of quality education, Chinese education has always received social attention. Reading teaching plays a decisive role in the entire Chinese education system. How to overcome the dislike of students, stimulate students ’interest in reading, enhance students’ reading ability, strengthen their reading skills and evolve the practical development of Chinese teaching in primary schools has become a problem which is urgently needed to overcome in front of educators and theoretical researchers. This article will be based on years of practice experience and related theoretical knowledge of Chinese teaching in primary schools to briefly explain the problems exposed in the process of Chinese reading teaching in primary schools in China, and based on this
