1989年9月12日至15日,国家统计局城市社会经济调查总队邀请外贸部、海关总署、国家物价局、中国人民大学以及部分进出口总公司等单位,在北京召开了全国进出口商品价格统计研讨会。会议针对编制进出口商品价格指数需要解决的如编制目的、方法、资料搜集、指数公式、有关部门之间的协调和合作及开展此项工作所需经费的来源等问题进行了讨论,基本上取得了一致的意见。
