包谷是高产作物,有很大的增产潜力。我省自1976年以来,包谷持续增产,去年单产、总产都创历史最高纪录,出现了500斤以上的县,600斤以上的公社,800斤以上的大队。今年包谷杂交种面积大,底肥足,播种质量好,苗子出的齐,只要把田间管理工作抓好,抓到底,使包谷一生健壮生长,就将能高产丰收到手。根据包谷生育规律并考虑今年我省肥、水等生产条件,对包谷生育后期管理,提出以下几项技术措施,供参考。
