乌鲁木齐,蒙古语意“美丽的牧场”。这里曾经回荡着丝绸之路的悠悠驼铃,飞旋着维吾尔族姑娘的舞裙和长辫。如今,在这块风情万种的辽阔大地上,一座现代化的科技新城区——乌鲁木齐国家高新区拔地而起。乌鲁木齐高新区作为新疆惟一的国家级高新区,秉承“发展高科技,实现产业化”的伟大志向,独据西北一隅,依托得天独厚的资源优势,走出了一条独具特色的高新技术产业发展之路。今年八月“,2006年全国高新区第四届主任联席会暨中国高新技术产业发展中亚市场战略联盟第二届理事会”将在乌鲁木齐高新区隆重召开。届时,各高新区人将齐聚一堂,围绕“提升高新区自主创新能力,开创高新区发展新局面”的主题展开讨论。对于乌鲁木齐高新区而言,这无疑是一次展示自身魅力的机遇。为此,本刊记者特赴新疆乌鲁木齐高新区进行实地采访,从各个层面为您解读乌鲁木齐高新区十四年来的创新之路。
