为了进一步提高拖网渔轮对捕捞以鲅鱼为主的底层起浮性经济鱼类的能力,由大连水产集团公司承担的大连市水产科技项目——441千瓦渔轮190目×1600毫,米拖网试验与推广,于1990年12月在大连市通过技术鉴定。该网适用于441千瓦机轮双拖作业。网口目大1600毫米,比原生产网(350毫米)增加4倍,作业网口高度达17～20米,增加15～20%,拖速增加0.3节,捕捞产量增加30～60%,而且释放幼鱼效果良好。
