Huaiyuan County Chinese Medicine Hospital was founded in 1984 and started from 20,000 yuan. After years of arduous pioneering, it has become a comprehensive Chinese medicine hospital integrating medical treatment, preventive health care, and teaching and scientific research. In 1987, it was awarded “National Hygienic Civilization” by Ministry of Public Health. The title of “Building an Advanced Collective” has been awarded as Provincial Civilization Hospital for 3 consecutive years. Since 1991, it has been maintaining the title of a civilized unit in Handan City. In 1997, it was the Provincial Health Department.
