《义务教育语文课程标准》总目标中强调:“在发展语言能力的同时,发展思维能力,激发想象力和创造潜能。”教育心理学也明确指出“想象力是人的智力结构中一个重要成分,想象力的发展影响着智力的发展。”“想象活动对人们的记忆、思维、个性、意志、艺术创作和欣赏等方面的形成与发展起着巨大作用。”所以,培养和训练学生良好的想象力是《义务教育语文课程标准》和儿童自身发展的双重要求,具有十分重要的发展意义和现实意义。
