在西方美术史上,没有哪一个时代有过像20世纪这样多的艺术实验和变革,也没有哪一个时代提出过这么多的“反命题”。溯源于19世纪后半期的西方现代绘画演变,以日益多变和几乎令人目不暇接的方式不断在艺术思想和造型观念方面提出新说,这些思想和观念大多采取了“逆反”的姿态和“反命题”的表现形式,以“反传统”或反对某个先行流派为其基调或陪音,因此也都不可避免地引起被否定方面和一般习惯的抵制或责难。
In the history of Western art, no era has had as many artistic experiments and changes as the twentieth century, and no era has ever put so many “counterpropositions.” Tracing to the evolution of Western modern painting in the second half of the 19th century, new ideas have constantly been put forward in terms of artistic ideas and stylistic concepts in an ever-changing and almost dizzying way. Most of these ideas and concepts have adopted the “reverse” attitude and the “anti Proposition ”of the form,“ anti-traditional ”or against a predecessor school as its keynote or voiceover, it also inevitably lead to the negation of the general and habits of resistance or censure.
