(记者晓华)登封市怀宇堂是中国健康扶贫工程定点医疗单位,为积极实现“健康扶贫,利国利民”的诺言,更好地回报社会,为更多的弱势群体服务,于2006年6月1日—6月30日举办了为期一个月的“大型糖尿病义珍,免费检查血糖”活动。共为2486人做了检查,解除了百姓疾病的困扰。活动期间,他们还免费举办了三期预防和治疗糖尿病知识讲座,受到当地群众的一致好评。
(Reporter Xiao Hua) Dengfeng Huaiyutang is a designated medical unit for China’s health-related poverty alleviation project. It is actively fulfilling the promise of “health-reducing poverty, benefiting the country, and benefiting the people”, better repaying society, and serving more vulnerable groups. On June 1st to June 30th, 2006, a one-month “large-scale Diabetes Yizheng, free blood glucose check” activity was held. A total of 2,486 people were examined and the people were relieved of the disease. During the event, they also organized three free lectures on the prevention and treatment of diabetes, which were well received by the local people.
