华中师范大学经济与工商管理学院前身可追溯到上世纪30年代成立的华中大学经济系。改革开放以后,为适应社会经济的发展,学校于1985年成立城市经济管理系,在全国率先开设房地产专业。1993年成立经济系。1997年,经济系与城市经济管理系共同组建成经济学院。2012年5月学校在整合全校工商管理相关专业基础上,组建了经济与工商管理学院(以下简称学院)。学院现有1个省一级重点学科(应用经济学)、1个省二级重点学科(政治经济学)、1个湖北省重点
The predecessor of Huazhong Normal University’s School of Economics and Business can be traced back to the economics department of Huazhong University established in the 1930s. After the reform and opening up, in order to meet the social and economic development, the school established the department of urban economic management in 1985, and took the lead in opening a real estate major in China. Department of Economics was established in 1993. In 1997, Department of Economics and Department of Urban Economics and Management co-founded the School of Economics. In May 2012, the school established the School of Economics and Business Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) on the basis of integrating relevant business administration programs in the school. College currently has 1 provincial level key disciplines (Applied Economics), a province two key disciplines (political economy), a focus of Hubei Province
