中国的五千年文明史源远流长,经过中国人民的不懈求索,国画这一经典的民族艺术被创造出来并得以不断发展,它是中国人民伟大的智慧结晶。最早创造陶瓷的国家也是中国,国画与陶瓷都是中国民族文化艺术宝库中不可多得的瑰宝。从艺术的角度来看,中国画与陶瓷艺术有着同样浓厚的民族、审美、历史和地域特征,它们是发端相同而趋向不同的两种艺术,而它们之间又存在着千丝万缕的联系和相互的影响。回顾中国画和陶瓷艺术史,两者既互相融合又互相区别,它们在发展的过程中都保持了自身的艺术特色,在同样的文化背景下,表现出鲜明的个性特征和蓬勃的发展趋势。
