初中一年级的学生刚从小学升入中学,他们天真幼稚、思想单纯、热情活泼、易于引导和塑造。由于学习环境的改变,每个学生都渴望在新的起点有个良好的开端。这个时期的学生,身体发育正处于第二个高峰期,由于身体发育较快,他们感到自己已不再是小孩,所以也不愿人家称他们为少年儿童和再佩戴红领巾,并且希望自己将来能干一番大事业。他们常常表现出象成人一样的风度和气质,但又不能完全摆脱孩于的稚气,仍然贪玩好动,自制能力较弱,抽象思维较差。
