在素有植物王国之称的云南,有着十分丰富的观赏植物资源,除了闻名于世的八大名花外,尚有许多珍贵的野生花卉深埋于山中鲜为人知,有待开发利用。滇丁香(Luculiapinceana)就是其中一种。提到“丁香”二字,可能很多人会想到我国南北方庭院中广为栽培酌丁香(Syringa spp,),那是指本犀科丁香属植物,而滇丁香则属于梄草科滇丁香属,因该属植物形态与丁香稍有相似之处,又以云南最多,故名“滇丁香”。
