苹果树的花序开花期不同,自然座果率也有差异。一般早期花座果率高于中期花,中期花又高于晚期花。用人工授粉的方法能提高座果率,但因有效期较短,多数品种从开花第三天后授粉座果率明显下降。金冠品种开花第四天人工授粉座果率仍高达90%,而国光品种花后第三天授粉,座果率仅有10%。为保证人工授粉有较高的座果率,在宁夏的自然条件下,应在花朵开放三天之内授粉。
