According to foreign media reports, Australia attaches great importance to the recycling of waste aluminum cans and has formulated a long-term plan that has achieved fruitful results through public efforts. In 1986, Australia collected about 800 collection centers averaging 2.6 million scrap cans a day. This allows up to 950 million aluminum cans a year to be recycled - the equivalent of the number of cans it sells
