影片名《一一》,写出来正好是两横,意思是某个个体,也意味着从头开始,从简单开始。影片描述的正是一个个人物、一个个个体,最终从关注个体的差异个性过渡到探讨台湾社会的整体共性。故事包括一个婚礼和一个葬礼,其间夹杂着一个婴儿的出生,一个人的死亡,一次初恋,一次最后的约会还有一次凶杀。片中很多人的名字也都是重复的,这主要是为了让事情变得简单,本着同样的原则,这部片子的名字也是这样就叫做《一一》。“把事情一一道来”的意思,正暗合这部影片繁复的结构、细致的叙事风格。
The title of the film, “One by One,” is exactly two horizontal lines, meaning an individual, which means starting from scratch, starting from the simple.
