北京饭店新楼工程施工时需要大量的气焊设备。如果将乙炔罐和氧气瓶分放在大楼四周,则造成现场杂乱,胶管交叉穿挂,影响其他工序施工,管理十分困难,对防火很不利。电石、氧气、人工及胶管浪费很大,特别是施工到高层以后,胶管上楼更难。如果把乙炔罐和氧气瓶分放在各楼层,又是管理和防火所不允许的。由于这些原因,我处对气焊用气供应办法进行了改革,研究成功气焊用气集中供应法。
The construction of Beijing Hotel’s new building requires a large amount of gas welding equipment. If acetylene tanks and oxygen cylinders are placed around the building, it will cause clutter on the site, cross-hung hoses, and affect the construction of other processes. The management is very difficult and it is not good for fire protection. The use of calcium carbide, oxygen, labor, and hoses is a huge waste, especially after the construction of high-rise buildings. It is even harder for the hoses to go upstairs. If acetylene tanks and oxygen cylinders are placed on all floors, management and fire prevention are not allowed. For these reasons, the Department has reformed the gas supply method for gas welding and studied the gas supply method for successful gas welding.
