随着分析方法的发展,目前已可能定量鉴定出饮水和原水中许多有机化学物质。全世界合水中已查出2,221种有机化学物质,其中存在于饮水中的有765种;有20种为已确认的致癌物,23种为可疑致癌物,18种为促癌物,56种为诱变物。曾用许多有机污染物逐个对鼠类作过高剂量的致癌试难,也曾用反渗透和经冻干处理的水样浓缩物对细菌和细胞培养物进行诱变试验。最适宜的检试系统应包括水中各种有机化合物的生物鉴定。作者建议用五种方法评定饮水水样的潜在致癌危险性:
With the development of analytical methods, it is now possible to quantitatively identify many organic chemicals in drinking water and raw water. 2,221 kinds of organic chemicals have been identified in the world’s co-waters, of which 765 are found in drinking water; 20 are confirmed carcinogens, 23 are suspected carcinogens, 18 are carcinogens and 56 are Mutagen. Many organic contaminants have been tested on mice one by one for high doses of carcinogenicity and mutagenic tests have also been performed on bacterial and cell cultures using reverse osmosis and freeze-dried water-based concentrates. The most suitable test system should include the bioassay of various organic compounds in water. The authors recommend five methods for assessing the potential carcinogenic risk of drinking water samples:
