[Objective] To understand the nutritional status of iodine in different populations after the implementation of universal salt iodization (USI) measures in Binzhou. [Methods] In 2011, 12 240 general population, children, pregnant women and lactating women were sampled by stratified cluster sampling in 6 districts and 1 district of Binzhou to detect urinary iodine, and 200 children aged from 8 to 10 Thyroid ultrasound, in accordance with the national “iodized salt monitoring program of work,” the sampling method salt iodine detection. [Result] A total of 2 028 household salt, 1827 qualified iodized salt, 140 non-iodized salt, 61 unqualified iodized salt, 90.08% qualified iodized salt and 96.76% iodized salt were detected in 2011, Iodized salt coverage was 93.09%. The median iodine salt was 26.30mg / kg; the urinary iodine content of the general population was 24.30 ~ 1 225.30μg / L, the median was 201.70μg / L; the urinary iodine median of children aged 8-10 was 217.80μg / L, 50μg / L or less accounted for 3.59%, goiter rate 2.00%; pregnant women with a median urinary iodine 181.80μg / L; lactation women with a median urinary iodine 173.20μg / L; Binzhou general population, 8 to 10 years old The urinary iodine median of children, pregnant women and lactating women reached the standard of 100μg / L for iodine deficiency disorders elimination standard, but pregnant women and lactating women were 27.50% and 25.00% of urinary iodine value Below the “assessment criteria for iodine deficiency disorders,” 4.58% of pregnant women, lactating women urinary iodine value of less than 50.00μg / L. [Conclusion] Iodine nutrition monitoring of pregnant women and lactating women is suggested to be routinely monitored. According to the test results, the iodine nutrition should be promptly supplemented.
