The Depth Profile Correction Factor F_D aims to correct the standard storm equations in the standard sea area to suit the actual sea area. The standard sea area has a standard slope of 3.45 feet per 浬 from the 15-inch deep internal boundary. In this appendix, the various depth profile correction factor plots depict this standard sea area with a standard slope. In this way, the slope that fits this line has a correction factor of 1.0. The correction factor is greater than 1.0 for the slope profile smaller than the standard slope, and the correction factor for those steeper than the standard slope is less than 1.0.
