伴随着电影在中国出现,给电影做广告这件事就成了广告商们的又一营生。于是,最早的电影广告随着在中国放映的第一场“西洋影戏”诞生了。据《申报》记载,1896年8月11日(光绪廿二年),一位法国游客在上海徐园的茶楼“又一村”(今天潼路814弄35支弄)放映了一部短片,这是电影第一次在中国放映。但其实,早在1896年6月,徐园就已经放映“西洋影戏”了,其依据是1896年6月29日《申报》广告
