英语阅读中,快速阅读(速读)是一项基本的要求。运用快速阅读方法学习英语材料,有些学习者(特别是初学者)往往感到吃力,影响了对材料的理解,而英语程度较高的学习者则觉得速读有助于理解材料。那么,快速阅读对理解产生了怎样的影响呢?理解的心理过程是怎样的呢?笔者试图进行一些探讨。一、快速阅读与有效理解的心理过程理解,即用已有的知识去发现新材料的概念点(concept-unit)及概念点之间的关系,并把这种关系建立在心理联系的基础上。就学习一篇英语文章来说,即是指找出文章中每句的关键词,每段的关键句,发现关键词与关键词、关键句与关键句之间的联系,从而理解整篇文章的心理过程。我认为,快速阅读中的理解,涉及到以下心理过程。眼脑的关系。慢速度的阅读,眼球的静止时间
