When engaged in translation activities, especially in literary translation, besides accurately grasping the literal meaning expressed by the original language, full attention should be paid to the differences between the original language and the target language. Literature is the art of language. Each language has its unique characteristics. Literature based on a certain language is also very dependent on these features to form its own unique charm. Therefore, in literary translation, in addition to accurately grasping the literal meaning, extra attention should be paid to the differences between the two languages so as to minimize the damage to the aesthetics of the literature when the original language is translated into the target language. Taking the three Chinese versions of the novel “Kinzaki” written by the Japanese birch school writer Shiga Naoya as an example, this article compares the different ways in which different translators treat language differences from the perspective of onomatopoeia, tense, context, and subsidiary verbs , A glimpse of the impact of different treatment methods on the translation.
