半个世纪以来,我国广大医院管理工作者悉心研究,不懈探索,在实践中积累了丰富的医院管理经验,形成了符合社会主义医疗事业宗旨、切合我国医院工作实际的优良传统。在深化医院改革,重视借鉴和运用国外先进的医院管理思想和技术的同时,认真总结这些成熟的经验和优良的传统,使之与现代管理理论融会贯通,将其发扬光大,促进我国医院的建设和发展,仍然是当前中国医院管理科学领域的重大课题。经卫生部医政司原司长陈仲武和中华医院管理学会会长张自宽同志推荐,本刊征得卫生部原副部长郭子恒同志的同意,从本期起分两次刊出由他撰写的回忆五六十年代他在北京积水潭医院工作的文章《难忘岁月》,同时配发卫生部原副部长顾英奇同志撰写的《<难忘岁月>读后》。《难忘岁月》从医院领导班子建设、专业技术发展、人才培养和医院管理四个方面叙述了当年积水潭医院的历史,文章虽然没有长篇大套地阐述什么“理论”,但医院领导工作的方法艺术和管理思想则在叙述中娓娓道来。相信广大读者一定会从中受到启迪,以提高自身的管理素质。如能达到这一效果,也是编者的莫大荣幸。
