2010年4月8至10日,TIPA年度大会采用投票的方式,决定增加中国的《中国摄影》杂志(Chinese Photography)成为新的会员单位。《中国摄影》杂志是TIAP最早的亚洲会员,也是TIPA唯一的中国会员。TIPA的故事也是一个摄影的故事。从1991年起,我们的共同至爱—针孔暗箱(或针孔相机,相机的雏形和基本结构,the camera obscura)—的经历已经不能用进化来形容,而应该用革命来形容,这场革命不仅是技术层面上的,而且也还是审美和文化层面上的。在我们今天的社会中,影像的角色已经随着时间发生了变革,从1991年以来更是如此。
From April 8 to April 10, 2010, the TIPA Annual General Assembly voted to add China Photography as a new member unit. China Photography is the first Asian member of TIAP and the only Chinese member of TIPA. TIPA’s story is also a photographic story. Since 1991, our common delight - the pinhole camera (or pinhole camera, the camera obscura) - can no longer be described as evolution but as a revolution Revolution is not only at the technical level, but also at the aesthetic and cultural levels. In our society today, the role of imagery has changed over time, even more so since 1991.
