1993年10月,在湖北荆门郭店一号楚墓出土一批竹简,经过专家的整理识读,1998年5月由国家文物出版社公布其内容及释文,书名为《郭店楚墓竹简》。该书是由荆门博物馆整理,经裘锡圭先生加按语审订的。《郭店楚墓竹简》出版以后,受到国内外学者的高度重视,立即成为学术界研究热点。竹简的出土被认为是“世纪之交,我国人文学界和国际汉学界最为振奋人心的重大事件。”海外学者誉其为“中国的死海遗书”。国内外学者多次举行关于竹简的研究讨论会议,学者们的研究文章也屡屡见诸各种学术报刊杂志,研究专著也已出现,研究取得了可观的成绩。
In October 1993, a group of bamboo slips were unearthed in the Chu Tomb of Guodian, Jingmen, Hubei Province. After finishing the reading and writing by experts, in May 1998, the contents and interpretation of the bamboo slips were published by the National Cultural Relics Publishing House with the title of “ ”. The book is compiled by the Jingmen Museum, reviewed by Mr. Qiu Xigui in the language.
