虽说面临的新现实是计算机的阅读书写能力对于经济发展是不可缺少的,但东欧的个人计算机依然很少。在是否发展自己的工业还是去进口西方的技术方面,存在着许多争议。每个东欧国家现在都在发展计算机技术彼此竞争。保加利亚和捷克的计算机是十分不可靠的。
Although the new reality it faces is that computer literacy is indispensable to economic development, personal computers in Eastern Europe are still scarce. There is much controversy over whether to develop own industries or to import Western technologies. Every Eastern European country is now competing with each other in developing computer technology. Computers in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic are very unreliable.
