连铸结晶器中液位和铸坯分离区的检测是连铸检测技术中很棘手的问题,它对保证连铸作业的稳定性极为重要。本文所述的超声检测系统不仅能检测结晶器中的液位,还能对铸坯分离区进行检测。在板坯连铸机上所作的检测试验表明,该系统原则上可用于结晶器中的液位和液位变化情况的检测。不过由于浇注过程中超声发生器的温度变化以及连铸坯和结晶器内壁之间有钢渣存在,有时也会使检测结果失真。该系统还能清楚地测出更换盛钢桶时,由连铸速度的变化所引起的分离区的位移。
Continuous casting mold in the liquid level and billet separation zone detection is continuous casting detection technology is very tricky problem, it is to ensure the stability of continuous casting operations is extremely important. The ultrasonic testing system described in this paper can not only detect the liquid level in the mold, but also detect the slab separation zone. Tests performed on slab caster show that the system can in principle be used for the detection of liquid level and level changes in crystallizers. However, the temperature of the ultrasonic generator during pouring and the presence of steel slag between the slab and the inner wall of the mold may sometimes distort the test results. The system can also clearly measure the displacement of the separation zone caused by the change of continuous casting speed when replacing the ladle.
