《孙中山破陋习》是苏教版三年级上册课文。课文篇幅不长,但结构、内容并不浅显。从大处看,文题“破陋习”中“破”是文眼,但“怎么破”没有以更多笔墨呈现,仅是课文最后一节内容中数语提及;课文首节与第7节,以对比手法写姐姐缠足前后的不同,第2节到第6节,孙中山目睹母亲给姐姐缠足时与母亲的一番对话。两处合起来是课文的主体部分,交代的正是“孙中山破陋习”之前因,坐实了文题中“破”所包含的“为什么破”。此外,缠足一事与学生的生活经验相隔甚远,课文中的人物自身情感饱满,人物之间还形成了情感
