　　Silica aerogels are generally considered to have poor mechanical properties,which make their commercial use require the reinforcement of their structure so as to obtained materials strong enough to withstand mechanical stress.Incorporation of polymers into silica aerogels was considered as more promising approach because of taking advantages of the mechanical strength and possible hydrophobicity of the polymer.
