放线菌是一种具有分支状菌丝体的革兰氏阳性细菌，因能产生丰富的活性次生代谢产物而著名。在现有的大约23000 种已知的微生物天然产物中，近50％展现出各种生物活性，而放线菌来源的活性天然产物占40％左右。
