Recently, the problems of the traffic jams have been extensively investigated by the statistical physicists.The traffic jams result in increased travel time and exhaust fume emissions;hence, it is necessary to control traffic jams, either from traffic economic or traffic pollution viewpoints.The active control technique has attracted much attention from the scientists in both theoretical and experimental fields.The delayed feedback control method is one of main methods for controlling unstable motion and chaos [1-2].Pyragas [1] has proposed a continuous method of chaos control by using time-delayed controlling forces, which can be particularly convenient for an experimental application.
