　　In recent years,English as a foreign language(EFL)teachers in many Chinese universities have been encouraged to teach English for Academic Purposes(EAP)instead of English for General Purposes(EGP)to meet the changed needs of EFL learners,and also to respond to the call of education authorities against the backdrop of the internationalization of higher education in China.
