It was hypothesized that polychlorinated diphenyl sulfides (PCDPSs) and polybrominateddiphenyl ethers (PBDEs) metabolites (Meo-BDEs and OH-BDEs) can potentially interact with aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) and thereby cause adverse effects, such as embryo lethality,in wildlife. In this study, firstly,an AHR mediated adverse outcome pathway (AOP) was developed by literature review and weight of evidence approach.
