Herein we report the synthesis of a series of bisfunctional alkyl-bridged Bis-(β-CD-ammonia)salt catalyst(C1-C7)from environment-friendly β-cyclodestrion(β-CD) and characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR,IR to indentity its structure.Using C1 as bifunctional,one-component catalysts for the cycloaddition reaction of CO2 and propylene epoxide(PO),we found that C1 can catalyze the reaction and achieved eccellent yield(96%) and selectivity(99%) at mild conditions(110℃,2MPa,0.125mmol%,4h).The influence of catalyst structure and reaction conditions on cyclic carbonates yield were also discussed.Furthermore,the catalyst was applicable for coupling reaction of CO2 with various epoxides.And we proposed a possible mechanism.
