Fruit size is one of the most important traits that affect the economic value of persimmon fruit.To elucidate the regulatory mechanism of fruit size in persimmon, we investigated cytokinin (CK) metabolism in a small-fruit somaclonal mutant Totsutanenashi (TTN) , a bud-sport of the leading cultivar in Hiratanenashi (HTN) in Japan.
